DALLAS (SMU) – Parker Hardigree and Peter Smithson continue to impress for the Mustangs, picking up a one-two finish in diving on the second night of the SMU Invitational at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium Friday evening.

Hardigree posted a career-best 353.05 on 1 meter for the win, while Smithson registered a 318.65 for second. Both divers have previously qualified for NCAA Zone Championships. Dominic Hoefer and Dominic Carollo joined the pair in the finals, finishing fifth and eighth, respectively.

Freshman Colin Feehery picked up his first NCAA B cut in the 400-yard individual medley at 3:51.31, good for second place. Brayden Rudd was also in the event's Championship Final and finished sixth.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Matan Segal led four more Mustangs finishing third in a time of 48.77. Riley Hill finished fourth, Ralph Koo fifth, Jack Easton sixth, and Duncan Brookover seventh.

Daniel Forndal also made an individual appearance in a Championship Final, finishing second in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:36.65.

SMU opened the night with a second place finish in the 200-yard medley relay as Hill, Caleb Rhodenbaugh, Koo and Forndal clocked in at a season-best 1:27.13.

The Mustangs also picked up an NCAA B cut in prelims from Rhodenbaugh in the 100-yard breaststroke at 54.10. Rhodenbaugh went on to finish fourth in the event's Championship Final.
