Season Top Times (PDF)

The SMU women's swimming and diving team hosts American Athletic Conference opponent Tulane on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium. The event is the last dual meet of the regular season and will serve as Senior Night for six Mustangs – Amy Hess, Ashley Mercadel, Keegan Pho, Casey Rose, Kelcie Winters and El Yellin.

The Mustangs are 4-4 in dual action this season with wins over North Texas, TCU, Iowa State and Loyola New Orleans.

Three Mustangs hold NCAA B standard times, including Andrea Podmanikova (100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM), Erin Trahan (100 fly, 200 fly) and Olivia Grossklaus (200 fly). Grossklaus and Trahan's 200 fly times move them into seventh and ninth, respectively, on SMU's all-time top performer list, while Podmanikova now sits fourth in the 200 IM after posing a career best this season.

SMU holds the top time in five conference events, with Mustangs posting 13 times inside the top eight of their respective events. SMU also has the second fastest time in the league this season in both medley relays.

On the conference level, the Mustangs have taken home five weekly honors, with Podmanikova leading the way with a pair (Oct. 6, Nov. 20). Gabi Grobler (Nov. 6) and Trahan (Jan. 15) each have one, while Johanna Holloway adds a nod on Nov. 6 from the diving side.

Tulane is 3-5 and is coming off a win over the University of West Florida. Olivia Johnson paces the conference in the 400-yard individual medley, while four of the Green Wave's relays rank in The American's top three.

Outside of the pool, the Mustangs were recently honored as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, posting a 3.39 GPA during the fall semester.

Live swimming results and video can be found on SMUMustangs.com, while diving results will be available at DiveMeets.com. Fans can also follow on the Meet Mobile App ($) and on the Mustangs' Twitter account (@SMUSwimmingW).

SMU will also host a pre-conference time trial event on Saturday with sessions beginning at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Mustangs will welcome swimmer and divers from North Texas and Oklahoma Baptist, as well as divers from TCU.
