DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU men's golf team heads to Bandon, Ore., to play in the Bandon Dunes Championship hosted by Gonzaga, March 10-12.
The three day tournament takes place at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and will play on the Bandon Dunes Course, one of the four courses at the resort. The 72-par course registers 6,954 yards. Competition begins on Sunday at 8:30 a.m., with the Mustangs paired against Utah, Cal State Northridge and Fresno State for round one.

The Field: There are 17 teams competing in the tournament: Boise State, Denver, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Idaho, North Carolina, Cal State Northridge, Oregon, Oregon State, San Jose State, SMU, UNC Wilmington, USC Upstate, Utah, Utah Valley and Washington State.

Representing SMU: Competing for the Mustangs are Mac Meissner, Noah Goodwin, Ben Wong, Ollie Osborne Justin Thompson and Jackson Markham who will compete as an individual.

In The Rankings: SMU Ranks tenth in the latest edition of the Golfstat rankings. Individually four Mustangs rank in the top 250; No. 21 Mac Meissner, No. 41 Noah Goodwin, No. 105 Ben Wong and No. 106 Ollie Osborne.
