RICHMOND, Va. (SMU) – Felicity Passon took full advantage of her promotion to the 100-meter butterfly Consolation Final on night two of the TYR Pro Swim Series at Richmond by dropping .21 seconds from her prelim time to finish 15th overall.

Passon posted a 1:01.79 in heats, which qualified her 17th overall, but due to a scratch in the Consolation Final, she competed in the B Final with teammate Erin Trahan and posted a time of 1:01.58 for seventh. Trahan finished 16th overall with a time of 1:01.95.

Also competing in the 100 fly finals was Olivia Grossklaus, who placed 26th overall out of the D Final. Her finals time of 1:02.66 was over a second faster than her morning swim.

Andrea Podmanikova was the fourth Mustang to advance on day two of the event, making an appearance in the C Final of the 100-meter breaststroke. She finished 21st overall, covering the distance in 1:13.59.

Competition resumes Friday with the 200 fly, 50 free, 100 back, 200 breast, 50 fly, 400 free and 200 mixed medley relay.
