Aug. 26 | Meet The Mustangs | Emmanuel Bandoumel
 
"My first aspiration was to play D-I, but the next goal is to play in the NBA or overseas like my brother."
 
He averaged 13.9 points, 4.0 rebounds & 1.9 assists while shooting 53.0% overall and 39.0% from three at Hill College last season. #PonyUp

Aug. 22 | Meet The Mustangs | Isiah Jasey
 
"I've always been good on the defense, blocking shots and stuff like that."
 
The Killeen native was a four-star signee that has already been part of a an NCAA Tournament run to the sweet 16. #PonyUp

Aug. 19 | Meet The Mustangs | Darius McBride

"I am not really a selfish player. I like to get my teammates involved. Whatever I can do to help my teammates out and help the team win."

The three-star signee averaged 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists & 2 steals as a senior, earning Westlake HS MVP & Defensive Player of the Year. #PonyUp

Aug. 15 | Meet The Mustangs | Alex Tabor Jr.
 
"When I visited SMU, the combination between athletics and academics… I knew it was the right place for me."
 
He was a 3-year starter & 2-year captain for Charlotte Country Day School, earning All-Conference twice and All-State as a senior. #PonyUp

Aug. 12 | Meet The Mustangs | Kendric Davis

"I want to be, one day, hanging up a banner. Mainly winning, and carrying a legacy that is going to be forever talked about."

The four-star recruit averaged 6.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists as a freshman before transferring to SMU. #PonyUp

"Everybody wants to win. When somebody messes up, we pick each other up, and we just make tough plays in practice."

The four-star signee averaged 11.0 points, 1.4 steals and 0.9 assists while hitting 34.9 percent from three last season at Cal before transferring to SMU. #PonyUp

"My favorite part of practice is the defense, because that is what I need to work on the most. So being able to progressively see myself getting better every drill is real fun for me."
