2018-19 (Sophomore at California): Started 28 of 31 games and averaged 11.0 points, 1.4 steals and 0.9 assists while hitting 34.9% from three … … played 16 games with double digits … had five games with three or more steals.  GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Recorded season high 23 points and 7 steals at UCLA.

2017-18 (Freshman at California): Set the Cal freshman three-point record with 67 three-pointers, eclipsing Allen Crabbe’s 2011 record of 63…Appeared in all 32 games with 30 starts playing primarily at point guard…Averaged 11.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals…Shot 35.3 percent from beyond the arc…Scored in double figures in 19 games and turned in 20 outings with multiple three-pointers, including a 12-game three-point streak from Nov. 10 to Dec. 16…Three 20-point games…Led the Bears in scoring four times and in assists 10 times…Started all 18 regular-season Pac-12 games, averaging 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game with 34 total three-pointers and eight games in double figures…Went 5-10 from three-point range and shot 41.2 percent (7-17) from the field in the Pac-12 Tournament game against Stanford…Averaged 25.0 points over a two-game stretch in wins over CSU Fullerton and Seattle…Recorded a career-high 30 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals against the Titans…Went 6-7 from downtown to score 22 points against CSUN…Recorded his first career block against Cal Poly…Earned his first collegiate start against Wofford, going 7-11 with 17 points.
 

Prep: Four-star recruit according to ESPN and rated three stars by Scout, Rivals and 247sports...No. 21 overall player in the state of Texas for his class...Two-time All-District selection, earning the honors as a junior and senior and also earning the district MVP title in his final season...Averaged 23.4 points and five assists in his senior season...Helped his Westfield High School squad to a Bi-District Championship in his junior season, averaging 14.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists for the Mustangs...Originally committed to Iowa State but received a release for his scholarship in summer 2017.
