DALLAS (SMU) - SMU women's tennis head coach Jeff Nevolo announced that Hadley Doyle will join the Mustangs for the 2020-21 season. Doyle is from Colleyville, Texas and played last season at Tennessee.

At Tennessee, Doyle went 10-3 in singles and 4-3 in doubles overall. In dual matches, she compiled an 8-2 single mark and a 4-1 doubles record. In her final dual match up 2020, Doyle earned her first win over an ITA ranked opponent, defeating then-No. 124 Kelsey Mize of Ole Miss 6-3, 6-4.
 
While at Lakes Tennis Academy, Doyle was ranked as high as No. 3 in the state of Texas and No. 12 nationally while earning blue chip status according to tennisrecruiting.net. She was a singles finalist at three USTA national events (Oklahoma City; San Antonio; Surprise, Arizona) and the doubles champion at the USTA Oklahoma City tournament. Doyle also reached the semifinals of the USTA 18s National Clay Court Championships in South Carolina.
 
Doyle joins a group of newcomers that includes three national tennisrecruiting.net top-80 signees. Kiana Graham from Austin, Texas (Westwood High School) is a 5-star signee from ranked No. 33 nationally and No. 4 in Texas. Avery Hilbig from The Woodlands, Texas (The Woodlands High School) is also a 5-star prospect ranked No. 5 in the state and No. 78 nationally. Winslow Huth from Hilton Head, South Carolina (Hilton Head Preparatory School) is a 4-star recruit ranked No. 75 nationally.
