SMU hosts Oklahoma State Sunday at noon in Moody Coliseum. The Mustangs opened the season with a 75-63 victory at home against Missouri-Kansas City, while the Cowgirls last 55-45 against Colorado.

Toyelle Wilson is in her first season as head coach at SMU. She is the first Black female head coach of any sport at SMU.
• The Mustangs played just six games, including two conference games, before cancelling the 2019-20 season due to concerns over Covid-19.

SAVANNAH WILKINSON
Savannah Wilkinson posted her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against UMKC. The senior transfer went 5-of-9 from the field and pulled down eight defensive rebounds. She played in more than 70 games in three seasons at Florida State with career highs of 14 points and nine rebounds.
DANIELLE SANDERLIN
Danielle Sanderlin scored a game-high 20 points in the season opener. She scored a career-high 30 points during the 2019-20 season at Canisius, and has now reached 20 points in a game eight times. She went 9-of-12 from the field in her debut at SMU.
SYDNE WIGGINS
Sydne Wiggins scored 15 points in her first game at SMU, reaching double figures for the 28th time in her career. During four seasons at Rice, she scored a career-high 18 points twice. Wiggins made three of SMU's five 3-pointers against UMKC, going 3-for-6 outside the arc. Wiggins won a WNIT championship while at Rice.
JASMINE SMITH
Jasmine Smith had eight of SMU's 22 assists in her debut on the Hilltop. It was the fourth time in her career she finished with eight or more assists in a game. She tallied a career-high 10 assists during Rice's run to the 2021 WNIT championship. Smith scored seven points against UMKC and has a career-high 21 points, eclipsing 20 for the only time in her career during the 2019-20 season.
KAYLA WHITE
Kayla White started the season with nine points. She averaged double digits in scoring each of the last three seasons, leading the team in two of the three years. She has scored at least 20 points four times, including a career-high 22 points twice.
