DALLAS - The men's basketball game between SMU and Evansville scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Moody Coliseum has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 cases, ensuing pause in activities within the Evansville program.
 
SMU is 9-3 on the season, and has won six straight after a 90-72 win at New Mexico on Sunday. The Mustangs open American Athletic Conference play at Tulsa on Dec. 29.
