The No. 54 SMU women's tennis team resumes dual play as it visits No. 40 Tulsa for a noon first serve at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Mustangs aim to remain perfect against American Athletic Conference opponents, entering Saturday's match 2-0 with wins against South Florida (4-3), and Houston (4-0). SMU resumes spring travel after a five-match home stretch that included wins over UT Arlington and Houston.

Graduate senior Lexi Keberle leads the Mustangs' efforts with an 8-3 dual singles record, and a four-match win streak which includes wins against Arkansas and Wisconsin, her former team.

Tulsa
Tulsa enters its weekend seeking a third-consecutive win, defeating North Dakota and Purdue 7-0 and 6-1, respectively. Tulsa is 9-3 on the season, with seven wins at home. Tulsa's last home loss was a 4-2 decision against league opponent Memphis, snapping a five-match home win streak.

Laia Conde Montfort leads the way for Tulsa on court one with a 6-1 singles record. The junior has won three of her last four completed contests, including wins over AAC opponents Tulane and Wichita State. Conde Montfort, along with doubles partner Shura Poppe, currently hold a 9-1 record on court two in dual doubles play.

All-Time Versus Tulsa
The Mustangs (7-6, 2-0 AAC) enter Saturday's match looking to gain ground on a 17-12 edge Tulsa holds in the all-time series between the two programs. Last spring, SMU claimed a 4-2 team win against Tulsa, its first since the 2012-13 season. In its most recent matchup, Tulsa defeated SMU in the 2020-21 AAC Tournament semifinal match, before falling in the championship round.

Last Time Out
The Mustangs (7-6, 2-0 AAC) fell at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex to No. 34 Texas Tech, 4-2. In the affair, SMU won its fourth-straight doubles point off a 6-3 win for Jackie Nylander/Hadley Doyle, who improved to 3-0 through dual play, earning their second win over a Power Five opponent this spring. Keberle/Claudia Bartolome earned a 6-4 win, their first victory of the dual season as a pair, sealing the point for SMU.

On line four in singles, Bartolome improved to 5-4 through dual play with a 6-2, 6-3, straight-set win.

Keberle, up against Texas Tech's No. 16th-ranked Margarita Skriabina, led 3-0 in the final set before the match was called.
