MADISON, Wis. (SMU) – Nicole Stambo led the Mustangs in platform Finals on the final day of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.

The 2022 American Athletic Conference Most Outstanding Diver qualified out of the morning prelims in 18th place (212.30), but used a Finals score of 253.20 to climb four spots on the leaderboard and finish in 14th place, five spots higher than her previous top career finish of 19th in 2020.

The finals appearance was the third of the week for Stambo, who posted career-best finishes on both 1 and 3 meter at 16th on each.

Johanna Holloway competed in the event prelims, placing 22nd with a five-round 199.85.
