SAN ANTONIO (SMU) – SMU concluded the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational in sixth place out of 10 teams, shooting +54 through three rounds. Kennedy Pedigo led the Mustangs at +11, finishing tied for 15^th individually. Sam Houston won the tournament by 11 strokes, finishing at +21. SMU led the field in par 5 scoring by four strokes at -5 (4.92).
 
Pedigo shot 78 (+6) for the second straight round today. She shot par or better on the first five holes and recorded two birdies throughout her round. She was even on par 3's for the tournament, which was tied for third in the field. Her final score was +11 and good for a share of 15^th place.
 
Megan Daleo and Katie James (individual) finished tied for 19^th in the field at +12. Daleo shot a 79 (+7) today with 12 pars, while James shot 81 with 11 pars. Daleo tied for fourth in the field in par 5 scoring at -2 (4.83). James tied for seventh with 35 pars.
 
Maddi Olson shot 79 (+7) in her final round today. She was +14 overall in the tournament and tied for 25^th individually. Olson made a team-high three birdies in her final round. As per usual, she thrived in par 5 scoring, shooting -1 (4.92) overall.
 
Ashley Chow shot 82 (+10) today. She tied with Olson at -1 (4.92) in par 5 scoring. She finished at +18 and tied for 31^st. Serena Shah and Nicole Vivier (individual) tied for 36^th in the field at +20. Vivier tied for second on SMU with two final round birdies, while Shah was the third Mustang at -1 (4.92) in overall par 5 scoring.
 
Back in Action
The Mustangs will travel to University Place, Washington for the Chambers Bay Invitational April 11-12. They will also be competing in the AAC Championships in Pinehurst, North Carolina April 17-19.
