STILLWATER, Okla. (SMU) –
Kennedy Pedigo wrapped up the SMU women's golf season and her illustrious career on the Hilltop with a final round 74 (+2) at the NCAA Stillwater Regional. She finished the tournament at +9 and tied for 24
th in the field of 59 players.

No. 17 Baylor ran away with the overall team victory, finishing at +1 and 14 strokes ahead of second place No. 7 Arizona State. No. 19 Auburn played an incredible final day, shooting -12 to jump from sixth to a tie for third with No. 6 Oklahoma State. These two teams took the final NCAA Championship qualification spots at +18. Furman's Anna Morgan and Michigan State's Leila Raines advanced as individuals, finishing E and +3, respectively. Raines earned the final spot with an eagle on the second hole of a playoff.

Pedigo got her round started with a par on the first hole before bogeying two and three. She was able to par four and five before double bogeying six. After the slow start, the senior turned up her game with a birdie on the par 3 seventh. She would play an entirely clean round from here on out. She parred holes 8-13, birdied the 14
th, and parred holes 15-18 to close out her round at two over (74). The AAC individual champion and two-time All-Conference selection concluded her career with an overall tournament score of +9. She finished the regional tied with four others for 24
th place.

In their first tournament under Head Coach
Lauren Mason, The Mustangs won the Badger invitational on September 21
st, erasing a 12-stroke deficit to win their first title since March of 2019.
Kennedy Pedigo and
Katie James finished the tournament tied for third with even-par overall scores.
Maddi Olson tied for runner up at the GCU Invitational. She shot -2 for the tournament, and the Mustangs finished in third place out of 20 teams. SMU set a school record for lowest round and lowest round versus par of -11, 277 in the first round. Pedigo and
Ashley Chow shot career best 67s for the round.
Pedigo won her first career individual title at the AAC Championship on April 19
th. The senior became SMU's third conference champion in school history. The Mustangs finished in fourth place out of 10 teams.
