SMU Equestrian head coach Carol Gwin announced that Izzy Eastment has joined the program as the graduate manager for the 2022-23 season. Eastment, a 2017 graduate of SMU, was a four-year member of the Equestrian team.

"I am thrilled to have Izzy return to the team as a graduate manager," head coach Carol Gwin said. "She will make a huge impact on our daily operations since she is very familiar with the program. Izzy was one of my original jumping seat team members when I came to Dallas, so it is great to have her back."

A native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, Eastment's family operates an Equestrian facility. Izzy resides in Dallas and has extensive experience with the program's needs. Eastment will pursue a Master's degree in Management from SMU's Cox School of Business.
