ATHENS, GEORGIA (SMU) – Mustang divers wrapped up action at the Georgia Diving Invitational in Athens Thursday, with Peter Smithson earning three NCAA Zone Marks.

Smithson put together an impressive week earning top-five finishes and achieving NCAA Zone Standards in all three diving events. 

The senior earned a runner-up finish on 1 meter with an NCAA Zone Qualifying score of 328.80. Smithson scored a 340.65 on Platform to earn fourth place and finished fifth on 3 meter with a score of 328.80.

Dominic Hoefer and Tyler Coffey qualified for the 1 meter finals. Hoefer finished sixth and earned an NCAA Zone Mark after scoring a 205.25. Coffey's 245.15 landed him in 12^th place.

The three-day event featured competition from Georgia, Miami (Ohio), Tennessee, Minnesota, NC State, Virginia, South Carolina and Iowa State.
