FORT WORTH- Hadley Doyle, ranked in the ITA top 125 singles rankings, was named the TCU Hidden Dual singles champion as she went undefeated over the three-day tournament. Drew Morris and Maja Makoric were named the doubles champions of the tournament as they also went undefeated.


 
The Mustangs completed day one with 11 wins out of 14 matches played. Doyle eased over opponent Martha Makantasi of Tarleton, 6-0, 6-2. Senior Lana Mavor had a similar success with a victory over Ximena Morales of Tarleton, 6-4, 6-3. Morris and Makoric began their undefeated weekend with a 7-5 victory over Elif Albayrak and Ximena Morales of Tarleton. Jackie Nylander and Taylor Johnson, ranked No. 32 in ITA doubles, continued their success as they blew past Martha Makantasi and Elsa Baisson of Tarleton, 6-0.
 
Day two had a similar success for the Mustangs, winning 10 out of the 15 matches played. Sophomore, Emma Gretzky had a hard-fought battle over Audrey Pacheco of Tarleton, winning the opening set 6-3, dropping the second 5-7, and winning 10-3 in the deciding third set tiebreaker. Winslow Huth had a straight set victory over Laure Razet of Tarleton, 6-3, 6-1. Huth continued her success with doubles partner, Reka Patel as they defeated Clara Sobius and Celia Vaudia of Tarleton, 6-3.
 
The Mustangs closed out the Invitational by winning nine out of 13 matches played. Reka Patel finished with a straight set victory over Clara Sobius of Tarleton, 6-3, 6-2. Cambelle Bouchard and Emma Gretzky concluded their doubles run with a 6-3 win over Camryn Stepp and Arina Oreshchenka of Texas Tech. Johnson and Nylander finished with a 6-2 victory over Martha Makantasi and Elif Albayrak of Tarleton.
 
No matches will count towards the team's record.
 
The Mustangs are back in action January 19^th with a double header against Abilene Christian and Incarnate Word at the Styslinger/ Altec Tennis Complex.
