CARMEL, Calif. (SMU) – SMU men's golf sits in 10
th after one full round and a partial round on Monday from Preserve Golf Club.

The day was scheduled for 36 holes although round one was delayed by an hour due to frost on the course. When the round did get underway, the Mustangs found themselves in the middle of the pack with a flurry of birdies on their first nine holes. The Mustangs finished the day alone in 10
th place, just nine strokes back of first place, Oregon (-8).

J. Holland Humphries led the Mustangs on Monday with a three-under performance. His score of 69 has him in a tie for sixth place, two shots off the co-leaders.

Aaron Jarvis posted his strongest outing as a Mustangs with a score of 70 in round one. Jarvis played his final six holes at three under to shoot up the leaderboard. He sits in a tie for 14
th.
Will Sides carded a two-over 74 on Monday. He started his day with back-to-back birdies. Sides sits in a tie for 39
th.
Zachary Kingsland shot a 76 on Monday. He holds a share of 61
st.
Matthew Foster sits in 80
th after carding an 80 in round one.
