A NATIONAL FORCE
•SMU capitalized off its momentum from the last three seasons by winning the 2022-23 NCEA Dual Discipline National Championship. The Mustangs made their second consecutive appearance in the national semifinal meet after defeating then-No. 1 seed Auburn in 2021-22. In 2020-21, the program saw many firsts and records broken in its run to the national title meet. The Mustangs will look to build on their past success in this season.
