TULSA, Okla. (SMU)- The SMU women's basketball team fell to Tulsa 91-73 on Saturday afternoon in the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Tiara Young led SMU (14-14; 8-9 American Athletic Conference) with 22 points. Amirah Abdur-Rahim scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Chantae Embry finished with nine points and four boards. Maya Chandler totaled 11 points, and Reagan Bradley logged seven points, three rebounds, an assist, and a block. TK Pitts tied a career-high with 10 rebounds and added six points and three steals. Donavia Hall tallied four points and three boards, and Jiya Perry finished with three rebounds. 

Tulsa took control of the game with a 19-2 run in the third quarter. SMU started the fourth quarter outscoring the Golden Hurricane 9-3 but could not overcome the deficit down the stretch.

Back-to-back threes from Bradley and Chandler matched six unanswered from Tulsa midway through the second. Tulsa led 42-35 at the half after the teams traded runs to close the quarter. Bradley hit a shot at the end of the first to halt a Tulsa run and bring the Mustangs within seven at the end of the quarter.
