Biography

2023-24 (Sophomore): Totaled 94 points, 63 rebounds, 15 assists, and 10 steals… Logged career-highs in points with 10 and rebounds with 7 on Feb. 18 against Charlotte… Grabbed five plus rebounds in four out of the Mustangs final six games. 

2022-23 (Freshman): Played in 24 games averaging 8.2 minutes a game… Totaled 43 points, 23 rebounds, seven assists, and seven steals… Added seven points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal against UIW (12/21).

High School: Jiya Perry, a 5-10 guard, helped Desoto win the programs first state championship. Desoto went 28-2 during its historic run and finished the season ranked No. 11 in the nation by MaxPreps. Perry is ranked as the No. 23 prospect in Texas by Premier Basketball Report.
