Â
Mackenzie Lee was selected all-conference for the second time in as many seasons at SMU. She leads the team with a 70.97 scoring average, a single-season SMU record. The North Little Rock, Arkansas native has four top five finishes including one at the AAC Championship. Lee broke her own record with the lowest round ever by a Mustang, shooting a 62 in the final round of the Jim West Challenge. Her career scoring average of 71.35 is tops in SMU history. Lee has shot 13 rounds in the 60s this season to lead the team.
Â
Ellie Szeryk is second on the team with a 72.09 scoring average in her second year with the Mustangs. Szeryk won the Jim West Challenge back in the fall, setting the SMU program record for lowest 54 hole score along the way. The London, Ontario native has seven top 10 showings and a low round of 63. Szeryk's career scoring average of 72.35 is second best ever by a Mustang. Szeryk, who finished in fifth at the AACs, earns all-conference honors for the second consecutive season.
Â
Emily Odwin has made an immediate impact in her short time on the Hilltop. Since joining the team in the spring, Odwin has started every meet for the Mustangs. Odwin is third on the team with a 72.15 scoring average. She's recorded four top 10 finishes and has a low round of 67. The St. James, Barbados native finished in a tie for fifth at the AAC Championship as the Mustangs took home the team title.
