Biography

2023-24 (Sr. SMU) - Szeryk finished second on the squad with a 72.47 scoring average this season. She was named all-conference for the second straight year. She has shot par or better in 21 of 38 rounds. The London, Ontario native finished in eighth at the NCAA Regional, recording her eighth top 10 finish this season. Szeryk finished in fifth at the AAC Championship, shooting 69 and 68 on the first two days. The senior finished in fourth at the Texas Showdown stroke play before winning a pair of matches in the match play portion. Szeryk recorded her 10th career top finish with a tied for seventh place showing at The Show as the Mustangs captured the team title. Szeryk led the team with a fourth-place finish at the Chevron Collegiate. Her final total of 10-under was the fifth time anyone had reached that mark at SMU. Szeryk shot a 69 in the opening round of the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara. Szeryk had her best performance as a Mustang with an individual victory at the Jim West Challenge. She broke the SMU 54-hole record with a 16-under performance. At the Illini Women's Invitational, Szeryk led the Mustangs with a share of ninth place finish, her seventh top 10 finish since starting at SMU in 2022-23. She began the new season with a 10th-place finish at the Dick McGuire. She started the tournament with rounds of 69 and 71 to highlight her week.


2022-23 (Jr. SMU) - Szeryk's first season on the Hilltop saw the junior earn All-Conference honors. She finished third on the team with a 72.53 scoring average, good for fourth best all time at SMU. She posted eight top-20 finishes during the season and tied for second on the team with 23 rounds of par or better. She led the team with nine rounds in the 60s during the 2022-23 season. At the NCAA Championship, Szeryk posted a 52nd place finish as the Mustangs took home 11th place. At the NCAA Regional, Szeryk finished in 41st with the Mustangs taking home a share of first. At the AAC, Szeryk finished in eighth and earned All-Conference honors at the AAC Championship. Her final round 69 sent her up the leaderboard and into her fifth top-10 finish. Szeryk finished in 14th at the Chattanooga Classic shooting 70 and 68 in the first two rounds. Szeryk recorded her fourth top-10 finish of the season with a seventh-place showing at the Briar's Creek Invite. Szeryk finished in third place at the Trinity Forest Invitational, shooting two rounds of 70 and a stellar 65 in her final round. Szeryk finished in 30th at the Icon Invite highlighted by a round of -5 on day one, round two. The junior led the Mustangs at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge with a 27th place finish among the 87-player field. Szeryk registered her second top-10 finish of the season at the Hurricane Invite as the Mustangs won their first tournament title of the season. At the Jim West Challenge, Szeryk finished in a tie for 11th. The previous week, she finished in second place at The Ally. Szeryk shot an opening round 69 to jump out to an early second-place showing. She maintained that spot with rounds of 72 and 74 for her best collegiate finish. Szeryk also finished tied for 17th at the Dick McGuire Invite. Szeryk sat tied for second after the first two rounds thanks to scores of 68 and 70.

Competed individually at the Texas State Invitational Oct. 17-18, finishing in fourth place at E. Shot 71, 72, 73.
