What is your favorite rowing memory?
- My first time at Youth Nationals during my freshmen year when we placed 8th in the nation

Why did you choose to row for SMU?
- I love everything about SMU, the beautiful campus, the small size, the incredible opportunities, the city of Dallas and the people. I am excited to row for SMU and be a part of this new legacy in the ACC.

What stuck out to you about the team in your decision-making process that made the decision feel right?
- I enjoyed meeting Coach Chase and appreciated his vision for the team and his leadership style. A good friend of mine rowed for him at Duke and spoke very highly of him and his leadership style which helped make my decision. The team seems super friendly and inclusive which helped me to ultimately choose SMU.

What did you love about Dallas when you visited?
- The restaurants, the coffee shops and the people!

What was something about SMU/Dallas that surprised you?
- I was surprised at how worldly SMU is as far as where students come from. I am excited to meet students from other states and countries during my time at SMU!

What impact do you plan to make in your first year?
- I am looking forward to being involved with the BBA Scholars and Hilltop Scholars during my first year on campus.

- I am excited to meet new people and get plugged into the SMU community

What are you looking forward to doing most when you get to Dallas?
- I am looking forward to exploring the city and finding some fun new coffee shops and taco restaurants!
