DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Football has added a pair non-conference contests with Missouri State in the 2025 and 2026 seasons, it was announced on Thursday.
 
The Mustangs will head to Robert W. Plaster Stadium in Springfield on Sept. 13, 2025, while the Bears will come to Ford Stadium on Sept. 26, 2026.
 
This will be the first meeting between the two teams.
 
The Mustangs Are Coming! On the heels of a school-record eight-championship season and set for its inaugural season in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), SMU is riding a surge of momentum heading into 2024-25.

SMU has already set a new season-ticket sales record for Ford Stadium, with sales up more than 60%, and tickets for men's and women's basketball are also selling at record rates.
