TOLEDO, Ohio (SMU) - SMU men's golf sits in a tie for fifth after two rounds of the Inverness Intercollegiate from Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.
 
Competing against a very strong field that includes nine teams that made last season's NCAA Championship, the Mustangs contended for the lead through round one with a one over score. The Mustangs moved into a tie for fifth after shooting a 283 in round two. The Mustangs share fifth with Vanderbilt. Defending National Champs Auburn leads the field at four under.
 
Zachary Kingsland and Enrique Dimayuga both had strong showings in rounds one and two. Dimayuga sat in second after round one with a five under score. After a three-over score in round two, the Mustang transfer from Nevada sits in a tie for fourth. Also in fourth, Kingsland carded rounds of 66 and 70 on the par 69 course.
 
J. Holland Humphries shot a 72 in round one followed by a one-over 70 in round two. He holds a share of 28^th place.

Areen Aggarwal carded a round of 71 in round two to move up into 73^rd. Will Sides sits in T76 at 10-over par.
 
Competing as an individual, Aaron Jarvis sits in a tie for 51^st after carding a 71 and a 75.
 
The Mustangs look to climb the leaderboard during the third and final round on Tuesday. Action tees off for the Mustangs at 8:30 a.m. ET / 7:30 a.m. CT.
