MUSTANG REGIONAL HISTORY
This will mark the Mustangs 11
th trip to the NCAA Regional since the tournament was modified to six hosts sites in 2009. They have advanced past the Regional five times since then including last year when they finished in a tie for fourth. The program's best regional finish came in 2015 when they tied for first at the Noblesville, Ind. Regional.

Will Sides recorded a top nine finish. They advanced to the match play quarterfinals where they faced Clemson. The Mustangs lost in the quarterfinals 3-1.

KINGSLAND ACC CO-MEN's GOLFER OF THE MONTH
Zachary Kingsland was named ACC Co-Men's Golfer of the Month for February of 2025. Kingsland posted a 69.33 scoring average during the month with an individual title. Kingsland started off his month with a top-10 showing at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate. The junior finished in seventh with rounds of 70 and 68 on the first two days. Kingsland picked up where he left off at the Hal Williams Collegiate. The Austin, Texas native carded a 66 in round one followed by a 64 in round two to take the tournament lead. He followed that with a 69 in round three to clinch the individual championship. The victory gave Kingsland two tournament victories on the season, adding to his title at the Trinity Forest Invitational back in October. He has a 69.61 scoring average this season, the only golfer in SMU history with a sub 70 single season scoring average. He has posted 10 rounds in the 60s and 11 rounds of par or better.Â

ZACHARY KINGSLAND
Kingsland has a 70.73 scoring average through 10 events in the season. He leads the team with 14 rounds in the 60s. Kingsland finished in a tie for third at the ACC Championship. He finished in 27
th at the stacked Pauma Valley Invitational with a final round 68. He won his second tournament title of the season at the Hal Williams Collegiate. He posted three rounds in the 60s including a 64 in round two. He won the title by three strokes. Kingsland finished in a tie for seventh at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate. In the fall, he finished in eighth during the stroke play portion of the Stephens Cup. Kingsland won his first career tournament title at the Trinity Forest Invitational. He shot 14-under to win by two strokes. He finished in the top 20 at the Valero Texas Collegiate carding a 65 in the middle round. He posted a t-14
th place finish at the Inverness Intercollegiate highlighted by a 66 in round one. In 2023-24, the sophomore led the team with a 70.90 scoring average, the seventh lowest in program history. He has shot par or better in 22 of 39 rounds to lead the team. The then sophomore finished in the top half of the field at the NCAA Championship. Kingsland finished in 18
th at the NCAA Regional. Kingsland finished in eighth at the AAC Championship. He earned all-conference for his season performance. The sophomore finished in tenth at the Thunderbird Collegiate, shooting below par in each round. Kingsland finished in the top third of the field with a t-22
nd place showing at the Pauma Valley Invitational. Kingsland finished in a tie for sixth at the Wake Forest Invitational. The sophomore shot a 68 in his final round to move up the leaderboard. In his second appearance of the spring, the sophomore finished in the top half of the field at the Prestige. Kingsland finished in a tie for 12
th at the Fallen Oak Invitational. Zach carded 71 and 70 in the final two rounds. In his first appearance of 2023-24, Kingsland led the Mustangs with a 16 under performance. The sophomore shot four-under or better in every round with a low of 65. He finished in fourth place. Kingsland finished 10-under, good for 10
th place at the Stephens Cup. He posted a middle round of 64. In match play, Kingsland won his match, 5&4.

WILL SIDES
Sides has a 70.93 scoring average with a team-high 20 rounds of par or better. He also has nine rounds in the 60s. He recorded a top 10 finish at the ACC Championship and won his match play quarterfinal pairing. He finished in the top 10 against a large, talented field at The Goodwin. He finished in 11
th at the Hal Williams Collegiate moving up 12 spots on the final day with a 67. Sides finished as runner up at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate. Sides won his first tournament title at the Stephens Cup with a playoff victory. He also paired the victory with a match play win in the final. Sides finished in a tie for sixth at the Trinity Forest Invitational with a 10-under score. He shot 66 in the middle round. He led the team with a T-11
th place finish at the Valero Texas Collegiate carding a 68 on the final day to move up 20 spots. Sides carded a 69 in the final round of the first event of the season in 2024-25. Sides averaged 71.31 in 13 tournaments in 2023-24.  He finished second on the team with 21 rounds of par or better and tied for first with 14 rounds in the 60s. Sides finished in 82
nd of 185 at the NCAA Championship and 36
th of 82 at the NCAA Regional. Sides earned All-Conference status for the second straight year. The sophomore led the Mustangs with a third-place finish at the AAC Championship. He shot a 67 in the middle round and finished at four-under par. Sides co-led the team with a 22
nd place finish at Pauma Valley. The sophomore shot a 69 in the final round. Sides finished in 14
th at the Louisiana Classics posting a 68 in the middle round. Sides led the team with a 17
th-place finish at the Prestige. He carded a round of 66 on the final day. The sophomore finished in the top third of the field at the Arizona NIT. The Tulsa native led the team at the Cal Poly Invite with a 21
st finish.  He shot a season's best 66 in round two. Sides finished in 24
th at four under at the Stephens Cup before tying his match play showdown. In his first appearance of 2023-24, he finished in 18
th at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate. He carded a round in the 60s on each day with a low of 67.

ENRIQUE DIMAYUGA
Dimayuga is third on the team with a 71.10 scoring average, 0.07 above par on average. He finished in 22
nd at the conference championship. Competing as an individual at the Thunderbird Collegiate, Dimayuga finished in a tie for fourth with rounds of 68, 68 and 67. The graduate senior finished in 20
th at the Hal Williams Collegiate. Dimayuga rallied for a top 10 finish at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate in the first event of the spring. He carded rounds of 68 and 70 on the final two days. Dimayuga finished in the top 20 at the Valero Texas Collegiate. He led the Mustangs in his first event at SMU. He finished in second place with rounds of 64 in the first and last round at the Inverness Intercollegiate. Dimayuga spent the last season at University of Nevada. He competed in eight events, earning four top-three finishes. Enrique was Named First Team All-Mountain West and became the first golfer in program history to win consecutive titles. These three straight titles included securing first-place finishes at the UCSB Gaucho Invitational, El Macero Classic, and the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate.  This matched the third best single round score in program history by carding a 64 (-8) in the final round of the El Macero Classic. It also matched the eight best 54-hole score in program history after posting a sensational 204 (-12) to win the UCSB Gaucho Invitational by two strokes. Enrique became the first golfer in program history to win back-to-back titles after winning the El Macero Classic less than a week after winning the UCSB Gaucho Invitational. He proceeded to secure his third consecutive title with another victory at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. Enrique then qualified for the NCAA Stanford Regional as an individual where he finished tied for 14th with a 54-hole score of 206 (68-71-67).Â
MATTHEW FOSTER
Foster has a 72.91 scoring average through eight events. Foster finished in a tie for 33
rd the last time out at The Goodwin. Foster finished in a tie for 12
th, his best showing of the season against a strong field at the Southern Highlands Collegiate. He shot one-under on the final day. Foster finished in the top half of the field at the Hal Williams. He shot six-over to finish in 18
th at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate. He carded one-under 71 in the final round. He saw his first action of 2024-25 during the Trinity Forest Invitational. He finished in 26
th with rounds of 70 and 69 the first two days. Foster competed 12 times during his first year on the Hilltop (2023-24). He finished with a 72.61 scoring average during his freshman campaign with one tournament victory. Foster finished in a tie for 28
th at the NCAA Regional to help the Mustangs advance. Foster finished in the top half of the field with a 34
th place showing at Pauma Valley. Foster shot a 68 in the middle round of the Louisiana Classics. In his second career start, Foster won the Fallen Oak Invitational with a score of eight under par. He shot rounds of 69, 71, 68 to dominate the tournament. Foster finished in a tie for 15
th at the Stephens Cup with an eight-under score. The freshman won his match play meeting on the final hole.

AREEN AGGARWAL
Aggarwal has made six appearances in 2024-25 with the last coming at the ACC Championship. He has a 72.83 scoring average including five rounds of par or better. Aggarwal finished in a the top third of the field at The Goodwin. As an individual. At the Hal Williams, Aggarwal carded one above par or better in each round and finished in 44
th. He made his first start of the season at the Inverness Intercollegiate. The sophomore from Columbia, Missouri made three starts in the Mustangs' lineup in 2023-24 and completed seven rounds. He finished with a 73.86 scoring average. He finished in 45
th at the Louisiana Classics. In one official round at the Wake Forest Invitational, Aggarwal carded a 70. He competed at the Prestige Individual finishing in an impressive sixth place after a 70 in the final round.

LAST SEASON
The Mustangs are coming off a strong 2023-24 season where they advanced to the NCAA Championship. The team finished second at the AAC Championship, their sixth straight top three finish at conference. The Mustangs then finished in fourth at the NCAA Regional, securing a bid to the NCAA Championship, their first since 2021. They finished in 27

HASKINS AWARD WATCH LIST
JuniorÂ
Will Sides earned a place on the Haskins Award Preseason Watch List. This award is given annually to the top male US collegiate golfer as voted on by college golfers, coaches and members of the golf media. Past winners of the Haskins Award presented by Stifel have captured 33 major championships and more than 400 professional tournaments around the world. Named in honor of Fred Haskins, the award is managed by the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top male golfer at the end of the season and to match the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, which acknowledges the top female Division I collegiate golfer.

SUMMER 2024
Enrique Dimayuga won the Singapore Open with a four-stroke victory. The new Mustang followed that up with an individual title at the Southeast Asian Amateur Team Championship.Â
Will Sides advanced to the finals of the TMGA Amateur Championship. Sides also was a quarterfinalist at the Western Amateur.Â
Aaron Jarvis earned a bid to the US Amateur Championship in July at Hazeltine.
