Ozzie Quevedo will head to Singapore to compete at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships from July 26 to August 3.
Slušná will race for the Slovakian National Swimming Team in her first long-course World Aquatics Championships. She will be swimming in the 50m free, 50m fly and 100m free events.
The incoming freshman is experienced in international competition, notably, she competed at the 2024 World Aquatics Short Course Championships in Hungary.
Podmanikova will also represent the Slovakian National Swimming Team. She will compete in the 50m, 100m and 200m breast in her second long-course World Aquatics Championships.
The four-time American Conference Champion competed at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Prior to that, she swam for the Mustangs for two seasons (2017-2019) and still holds SMU's program record in the 200 breast (2:08.66), which she set in 2019. She is set to return to the Hilltop as SMU's graduate assistant coach for the 2025-26 season.
Quevedo will coach the Polish National Team, accompanying the SMU Pro Team and Polish international swimmer, Kasia Wasick. Wasick is a six-time World Championships medalist.
Since training under Quevedo, Wasick has won two bronze medals at the 2024 World Aquatics Short Course Championships, one bronze medal at the 2024 World Aquatics Long Course Championships and placed fifth in the 50m free at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Quevedo also coached the Polish National Swim Team at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
