DALLAS (SMU) – SMU men's and women's swimming and diving programs earned the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Spring Scholar All-America Team honors as announced by the association on Thursday.
To earn this prestigious honor, teams had to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.
SMU's women's team, led by Head Coach
Ozzie Quevedo, accumulated a team spring GPA of 3.44, while the men's team, led by Head Coach
Greg Rhodenbaugh, finished the spring with a 3.37 GPA.
The CSCAA selected 763 teams from 432 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2025 semester.

Eleven Mustangs on the men's swimming and diving program were also named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
