DALLAS (SMU/NBA) ---
Matt Cross will play with the Dallas Mavericks for the 2025 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Cross signed as a free agent with the Dallas Mavericks after the NBA Draft.
In 2024-25, Cross averaged 11.8 points (38th ACC), 7.6 rebounds (6th ACC), 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals while recording six double-doubles (8th ACC). He shot 48.5% from the field and 38.2% on threes. He was named ACC Player of the Week on December 16 after he had 16 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in the 74-64 win over LSU. Cross helped the Mustangs go 24-11 overall and earn a No. 1 seed in the NIT. SMU finished 13-7 in the program's inaugural season in the ACC to tie for fourth, recording a 7-3 road record in league play. The Mustangs also won the Acrisure Holiday Invitational.
The
NBA Summer League runs July 10-20 with bracket play beginning July 18.
