CHARLOTTE, N.C. (SMU) – The ACC announced the 2025-26 women's basketball conference schedule on Tuesday.
SMU's 18-game conference slate will feature nine games inside Moody Coliseum, highlighted by three 2025 NCAA tournament teams coming to the Hilltop in Georgia Tech (Jan.4), Florida State (Jan. 22) and Notre Dame (Feb.22). In total, the Mustangs will face eight teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year during its ACC slate.
SMU begins conference action on Dec. 7, hosting Syracuse in Moody Coliseum. The Mustangs will play every conference opponent once and face off with their travel partner, Pitt, twice. The full 2025-26 schedule can be found

The bulk of ACC play will begin after Christmas break, as the Mustangs will hit the road, taking on Virginia on Dec. 29, then play at Louisville to begin the new year on Jan. 1, before returning home to host Georgia Tech on Jan. 4.
SMU will then travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a matchup with NC State on Jan. 11, prior to hosting Virginia Tech on Jan. 15.
The Mustangs will then head to the Steel City to play Pitt on Jan.18 before returning to the Hilltop for back-to-back home games against Florida State (Jan. 22) and Miami (Jan. 25).
SMU closes out the month of January on the road, taking on Clemson on Jan. 29 followed by hosting Wake Forest on Feb. 5.
The Mustangs will then spend a week in the North Carolina foothills, facing Duke on Feb. 8 and North Carolina on Feb 12. SMU then returns to Moody Coliseum for a three-game home-stand playing Pitt on Feb. 15, Boston College on Feb. 19 and Notre Dame on Feb. 22.
SMU closes out its conference slate in California, facing Stanford on Feb. 26 and Cal on March 1.
The 2026 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 4-8 and will be held at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia. More information on the ACC Tournament can be found

The Mustangs begin the 50
th season in program history by hosting Grambling State on November 4 in the team's season opener.
SMU's non-conference slate consists of 12 games, with seven home games to be played inside Moody Coliseum, highlighted by matchups with Kansas State on Nov. 8, Arkansas on Dec. 4 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge and a trip to Nashville to compete in the Music City Classic the week of Thanksgiving.
The opener will also be the program's first game under head coach
Adia Barnes. Barnes, a former WBCA Coach of the Year Finalist and Naismith Coach of the Year Semifinalist, was named Head Women's Basketball Coach at SMU on April 5.
Fans will have a chance to see the team in action prior to the start of the season, as SMU will hold two public exhibition games inside Moody on Oct. 21 against West Texas A&M and on Oct. 27 against Cal State LA.
SMU overhauled its roster, signing 15 new players ahead of the 2025-26 season. Of the 15, eight players transferred in from a Power Four institution. The Mustangs will also be one of the more experienced teams in the nation, having added eight seniors/graduate students to the roster this season. More information on the newcomers can be found

Steal Club in support of SMU Women's Basketball. By pledging $10 for each steal the team makes this season, you'll directly support their defensive intensity and overall success on the court.
Members pledge per steal and can cap their giving at 25 steals ($250), 50 steals ($500), or 100 steals ($1,000). Members who pledge for all steals and submit the closest estimate to the total number of steals made during the 2025-26 season will be entered to win exclusive SMU Women's Basketball memorabilia. All Steal Club members will receive an exclusive club item and an invitation to a member-only event.
