Boopie Miller and
Jaron Pierre Jr. were named NABC All-District, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced on Tuesday. The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I.

Miller was named to the NABC Gulf District first team after previously earning All-ACC second-team honors. He is averaging 19.2 points (5
th ACC, 50
th NCAA), 6.4 assists (2
nd ACC, 15
th NCAA), 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals (11
th ACC) with a 2.45 assist-to-turnover ratio (6
th ACC, 81
st NCAA). He is shooting 47.0% from the field (11
th ACC), 41.0% on threes and 87.1% on free throws (3
rd ACC, 55
th NCAA) while recording five points-assists double-doubles. His late-game heroics include a half-court buzzer-beater for the 77-76 win versus Virginia Tech on Jan. 14.

Miller had 27 points in the win versus [12/12] North Carolina on Jan. 3 to earn honors as ACC Player of the Week, AP National Player of the Week and one of five Oscar Robertson Trophy National Players of the Week (Jan. 6). He was a preseason All-ACC Second Team selection as well as part of the Lute Olson Award Early Season Watch List and Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List. He was also No. 30 on the ESPN Top 50 Players at midseason and received votes on The Athletic Midseason All-America Teams. He was on the All-ACC Third Team in 2024-25.

Pierre Jr. was selected to the NABC Gulf District second team after also earning All-ACC honorable mention honors. He is averaging 17.6 points (8
th ACC), 4.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals while shooting 46.0% overall (14
th ACC), 37.8% on threes and 75.5% on at the free-throw line. His 2.4 threes made per game are 10
th in the ACC. He was the Hoop Hype XL Player of the Game after scoring 35 points in the 93-80 overtime win versus Texas A&M on Dec. 7. He has 13 games of at least 20 points for the Mustangs this season.

In the second season under Head Coach
Andy Enfield, the Mustangs are 20-13 overall and in the NCAA First Four, earning the program's first NCAA berth since 2017. SMU recorded a pair of ranked wins over [12/12] North Carolina on Jan. 3 (97-83) and [21/21] Louisville on Feb. 17 (95-85). That is the most ranked wins for SMU since 2019-20 (2) and the most ranked wins at Moody Coliseum since 2013-14 (3). The program least received votes in the AP or USA Today Coaches Poll in nine weeks and was No. 24 in the AP Top 25 and No. 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll on Jan. 5. That was the first time the Mustangs were ranked since the final poll of the 2016-17 season.
