CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (SMU) – SMU Women's Tennis collected its second ACC win of the year, defeating Boston College 4-0. The trip to Chestnut Hill was the first trip for the program to Boston College. The Mustangs improved to 8-4 and 2-3 in conference play.  

After falling on court two, the Mustangs earned wins on court two and court one to win yet another doubles point. Natalie Stasny and Sophie Llewellyn got back in the win column with a 6-2 win on court two, while the No. 10-ranked pair of Amelie Van Impe and Caroline McGinley grinded out a 7-6 victory to secure the doubles point. The pair improved to 9-0 on the season with the win, and SMU improved to 11-1 in doubles points.   

No. 49 Amelie Van Impe started a 3-0 slate for the Mustangs in singles, winning 6-1, 6-0 on court one to improve to 6-1 in her career at SMU. Ellie Mireles followed the result with a 6-3, 6-2 win of her own on court four. Then, Caroline McGinley clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-3 victory on court three.
