Women’s Tennis Signs Transfer Brooklyn Olson

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Women's Tennis and head coach Kelcy McKenna have announced the signing of transfer Brooklyn Olson to the 2026-27 roster.

Olson becomes a Mustang after two seasons at Ole Miss. The Kansas City, Kansas native and former blue-chip recruit primarily played at the No. 3 spot in doubles and singles in her sophomore campaign with the Rebels.

Olson compiled a 17-17 singles record during her two seasons in Oxford, while going 27-26 in doubles. She currently has a UTR of 9.86.

Under first-year head coach McKenna, the Mustangs earned an NCAA Championships bid, winning their first matchup of the Norman Regional over Wichita State. SMU finished 16-8 overall in 2026, 7-5 in ACC play. The Mustangs climbed to as high as No. 23 in the ITA rankings, the program's highest team ranking since 2011.
