DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU women's basketball program announced its Education Day game, as the team will host Hampton on November 5, inside Moody Coliseum.
The game will tip off at 11 am CT. Classes and groups can RSVP here. Free admission for all students, teachers, and chaperones (K-12)

• Concessions available (Note: Our venue is cashless, so students wishing to purchase items should bring a card or mobile payment)
• Outside lunches are allowed – schools are welcome to bring their meals
• No on-campus bus parking – drop-off and pick-up only

SMU enters year two under Head Coach Adia Barnes, who brought in an exciting group of portal additions ahead of the 2026-27 season, including Sun Belt Freshman of the Year Kinsea Grimes (Coastal Carolina), CAA Defensive Player of the Year Grace Ezebilo (Charleston), Pitt transfer Theresa Hagans Jr., who earned 2025-26 ACC All-Freshman Team honors, and French standout forward Adja Kane.

The Mustangs also welcomed back star Zahra King, who delivered one of the most dominant performances in all of college basketball last season with a remarkable 40-point performance in a win over Pitt.
