SMU Ranked No. 18 By SwimSwam, No. 21 By CSCAA In Preseason Polls

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Men's Swimming and Diving ranked in both SwimSwam and CSCAA preseason polls to start the 2026-27 season.

SwimSwam positioned the Mustangs in 18th place, while CSCAA placed them at 21st. Last season, SMU finished the season receiving votes from CSCAA.

SMU returns all of their individual scorers from the 2026 ACC Championships including sophomore diver Luke Sitz, who won the 1-meter event and finished 2nd in the 3-meter at NCAA National Championships.

Second-Team All-American Jack Berube returns to the Hilltop for his senior season, finishing the 2025-26 season with a time of 1:38.96 for the 200 back event at Nationals.

Returning sophomore, Francis Brennan holds the SMU record for the 200 Free with a time of 1:31.94, breaking his own record four times during his freshman campaign.
