Prior to SMU: Lettered four years under Colin Shaha at Greeley West and captained the team in 2017-18... Place 5th in the 100 breast and 6th in the 200 IM at state as a senior... Awarded all-conference second-team honors (2015, 2017, 2018)... Graduated as the school's 100 breast record holder... Earned MVP honors (2016-18) and team's Rookie of the Year Award (2015)... Named All-State Academic First-Team (2015-18)... Was a Greeley Tribune Best Preps nominee in 2016 and Coloradoan all-area honoree in 2016... Recipient of the Mark Hummels Legacy Award in 2016 and 2018 and FCA Winter Athlete of the Year... Competed for Jim Nickell at Loveland Swim Club... Voted team captain in 2018... Personal: Daughter of Amy and Doug Johnson... Has one brother (Colter)... Earned the IB Certificate of Excellence for top personal project in Community Engagement (2015)... Awarded High Honor Roll (2015-18)... Won AP Scholar, Girl Scout Bronze and Pioneer of Science Awards... Graduated in the top two percent of her class... Chose SMU because of the combination of a fantastic team environment, supportive coaching staff, beautiful campus and rigorous academics... Cousin, Jeff, is the head football coach at Army, while cousin, Todd, is the offensive coordinator at Georgia after serving in the same capacity with the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
