2016 (Jr.): Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Finished fourth in the steeplechase (10:45.82) and 12th in the 5,000-meter run (17:25.40) at the American Athletic Conference Championship... Placed second in the steeplechase (10:58.29) at the Michael Johnson Classic…Recorded a top-five performance at the Texas Relays in the 5,000-meter run (17:01.42) with a fourth place finish…Placed fourth in the 1,500-meter run (4:38.28) and ninth in the 3,000-meter run (10:06.39) at the TCU Invitational.

2015 (Jr.): Indoor: Finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run (16:50.34) and seventh in the 3,000-meter (9:42.38) at The American Championship... Placed fifth in the 5,000-meter (17:04.38) at the Tyson Invitational... Finished fifth in the 3,000-meter (10:00.03) at the Houston Invitational... Placed fifth in the mile (5:10.05) at the Oklahoma Invitational... Outdoor: Finished second in the steeplechase (10:44.27) and third in the 5,000-meter (17:02.79) at the American Athletic Conference Championship... Placed second in the 3,000-meter (10:06.68) at the TCU Invitational.

2014 (So.): Indoor: Placed fifth in the 5,000-meter run (17:06.04) and seventh in the 3,000-meter run (9:49.13) at The American Championship, helping SMU win the program's first indoor conference championship in school history... Placed third in the one mile run (5:05.37) and fifth in the 3,000-meter run (10:26.78) at the Red Raider Invitational... Outdoor: Competed in the NCAA West Preliminary in the steeplechase, placing 41st... Finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:18.74) and third in the 5,000-meter run (16:27.30) at The American Championship, helping SMU win the program's first outdoor conference championship in school history... Won the steeplechase at the Michael Johnson Invitational with a time of 10:57.78.

2013 (Fr.): Indoor: Placed fifth in the mile (5:10.58) and second in the 3,000-meter (10:18.04) at the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open... Was part of the winning distance medley relay team at the Howie Ryan Invitational that finished in 11:58.34, the ninth-best time in SMU history... Earned a personal-best mark of 9:48.70 in the 3,000-meter at the SPIRE Invitational, good for eighth in program history... Outdoor: Did not compete.

Prior to SMU: Cross-country MVP at her high school during her freshman and junior seasons... Also named her school's Most Outstanding Athlete for Track during her freshman year... Was a CIF finalist three years in cross-country and track... Competed at the Brooks PR Invitational... Competed with her school at the Nike Cross-Country Nationals her junior and senior years.

Personal: Born in Boulder, Colo.... Anticipated communication studies major... Parents are Kenny Souza and Darla Harnly... Has three siblings.
