Prior to SMU: Competed at Hof HaSharon under Leonid Kaufman... Graduated Summa cum laude... Swam club for Hapoel Jerusalem under Gary Kolontarov... Member of Israeli Junior National Team from 2010-2013 and was named captain of the team in 2013... Competed in the Mediterranean Sea Championship  for 2010 and 2011... Competed in the European Junior Championship in 2012... Swam two seasons at Eastern Michigan... Member of the 2017 MAC Champions team... Placed third in the 200 backstroke in 2017... Placed second in the 200 backstroke in 2018... First leg of the winning 800 freestyle relay in 2018... Israeli junior champion in the 400 Freestyle... Placed third in the 200 back at the Israeli Championship.

Personal: Son of Eitan Segal... Has two brothers (Yonatan and Stav)... Chose SMU because of the great swim team and facilities.
