Prior to SMU: A 2014 high school graduate of Sacred Heart Girls’ College in New Zealand… She also attended Aquinas college… Her previous coach is her mother, Glenys Kroon… At Sacred Heart, she won the Blues Award for contribution and excellence in sports...Finished first place in the 2km steeplechase at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Track and Field competition in 2014...Was a member of the New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country paper team (2012,’14) ... Also played soccer while in high school… She would most like to run in Yosemite National Park… She double-laces her shoelaces before every race…Loves to hang out with friends and going to the beach...Her favorite athlete is Olympic champion, New Zealand shot putter Valerie Adams… Her parents are Glenys Kroon and Eddie Grogan… Her mother ran cross country and track and road for New Zealand…
