The SMU Men’s Soccer Program is pleased to announce our third annual Coach Hudson Boys Soccer Goalkeeper Camp at SMU. This two-day goalkeeping will focus exclusively on the training and development of goalkeepers. The camp is designed to give goalkeepers of all abilities the opportunity to experience the same training environment and coaching that our perennial top-25 ranked SMU Mustangs’ goalkeepers receive on a daily basis.
The goalkeeping camp will be directed by the SMU Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper Coach, Jaime Ibarra. The goalkeeping camp staff will consist of all SMU Soccer Coaches, current SMU goalkeepers and goalkeeper coaches from other collegiate programs. Camper to coach ratio is targeted at 8:1.
The camp will be split into two age groups to enhance the training environment. Our goalkeeper development camp will consist of campers ages 10-13 and our goalkeeper college prep division will host campers 14-18 years of age.
The camp will include four specific goalkeeper sessions and a presentation regarding SMU goalkeeping philosophy.
