2018-19 (Senior): Reining Record: 12-5 ... Earned MOP vs. Auburn by defeating Tiger foe, Terri-June Granger, 73-72.5 ...Went 2-0 in UEC Championship contest...Earned a spot on the 1st Team All-UEC Academic squad...All-UEC Reining...NCEA Farnam All-Academic - 1st Team ... Earned Event Championship Most Outstanding Rider at the NCEA National Championship in Reining ... Named to the All-Championship Tournament team at the NCEA National Championship in Waco ... Won 4 of her five rides in Reining at NCEA Nationals, leading the Mustangs to compete on Championship Saturday in the finals for the first time in SMU Equestrian history where they earned National Champion Runner Up esteem...NCEA Co-Rider of the Year in Reining...
2018 Summer - Won the Collegiate Reining Championship at the 2018 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Derby in Oklahoma City, Okla. Steed captured the title with 222.5 points on San Juan Whiz, besting second-place finisher Caroline Gute's (South Carolina) 220.0 and a 219.5 from Georgia's Annebeth Payne. The Cochrane, Alberta, Canada product is the first Mustang in program history to capture the competition crown.
2017-18 (Jr.) – Competed in 15 events... Posted a 7-6-2 record... Academically, was named to the Farnam NCEA All-Academic First-Team... APHA NCEA Academic Honor Roll.
2016-17 (So.) – Competed in all 14 meets… Posted a 5-8-1 record, with two MOPS… First MOP against No. 2 Texas A&M after a 72.5-70.5 victory (Feb. 4), before a 69.5-69 versus No. 5 Fresno State (Feb. 10)… Won 67-65.5 at No. 8 South Carolina (March 4)… Academically, earned American Quarter Horse Association NCEA Academic All-America Second-Team honors.
2015-16 (Fr.) – Competed in 17 events… Tallied a 9-7-1 record in reining, while winning one MOP… Was named the UEC Reining Freshman of the Year… Competed in the NCEA National Championship, where she beat South Carolina’s Sarah Bouchard, 131-128… During the UEC Championships, knocked off Delaware State’s Brooke Moore, 134-131.5… Topped then-No. 3 Texas A&M’s Logan Pluhar 70-68…MOP came against South Dakota State on Oct. 30 after a 71-66.5 victory… Won (69.5-0) her first collegiate competition against Meloney Morris of TCU on Sept. 24… Academically, earned Beval Saddlery Academic All-America Second-Team status… Named to La Hacienda Academic Honor Roll.
