2018-19 (Senior): Over fences record: 15-2...On the flat record: 8-7-2…Tallied 4 MOPs ... Earned MOP in Equitation Over Fences defeating South Carolina’s Tyler Petrie, 88-86, during thrilling 9-8 SMU win...clinched another MOP honor over fences at Texas A&M, winning over Aggie adversary, Grace Boston, 85-80 ... crowned MOP over fences at the TCU spring meet, outscoring Wynne Weatherly, 83-80 ... Won MOP on the flat at UEC Championships, besting Fresno State foe, Alivia Hart, 147-110 ... Named UEC Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Week (Weeks 1, 9 and 14) ... Earned UEC Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month - February & March... Named to Fall University Academic Honor Roll ... Went 4-0 in UEC competition, winning her rides on the flat and over fences both in the Semifinal and Final ... 2017-18 (Jr.) – Competed in 32 events, 16 over fences and 16 on the flat... Posted a combined 22-9-1 record, with a 11-4-1 mark over fences and a 11-5-0 mark on the flat... Recorded three MOPs, all over fences... Earned Ariat NCEA Equitation Over Fences Honorable Mention honors...Academically, was named to the Farnam NCEA All-Academic First-Team... APHA NCEA Academic Honor Roll.

2016-17 (So.) – Competed in all 28 events… Posted a 17-9-2 record, with a 10-3-1 mark over fences and a 7-6-1 mark on the flat… Was named All-UEC Equitation Over Fences… Earned four MOP honors… Went 1-1 at the NCEA National Championship, with a 172-169 win over fences…Went 4-0 at the UEC Championship with all margins of victory at least 10 or more... Academically, was named to the American Quarter Horse Association Academic All-America First-Team.
 
2015-16 (Fr.) – Set the SMU single-season and freshman wins records after going 23-10-1 in 34 events…Finished 13-3-1 in equitation over fences, while going 10-7 on the flat…Earned NCEA All-American Honorable Mention in equitation over fences… Was named UEC Freshman of the Year in both equitation over fences and on the flat… In equitation over fences, recorded an 85 or higher three times, with a career-high 89…In equitation on the flat, recorded an 80 or higher three times, with a career-high 90… Went 3-for-4 at the NCEA National Championships, winning both flat events…Against ranked opponents, finished 12-5-1 with a 6-2-1 record over fences while going 6-3 on the flat…Won both her events on her collegiate-debut against TCU, Sept. 24.

Prep: Gray won the 25th running of the CET National Equitation Championship in 2013… has also claimed numerous ribbons at the Winter Equestrian Festival.

Personal: Nora Ellen Gray… Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada… Parents are father Jim and mother Jennifer… Older brother Robert… Both parents and brother are her co-trainers… Mother is a professional rider and competed internationally in Grand Prix events… Started competing at the age of four-years-old.
