Junior (2022): Played in 11 games, making eight starts... Registered 40 tackles (23 solo)... Added a PBU... Averaged 36.1 per return (1st AAC)... His two return TDs tied the SMU single-season and career record... Posted three 100-yard return games (Tulane, at Houston, Tulsa)... Registered 29 tackles (22 solo), including 1.5 TFLs for two yards... Added one interception for 48 yards and six pass breakups... Prep: A three-star recruit by 247sports.com and two-star recruit by Rivals.com… A first-team all-district selection… Helped Katy to a 12-1 record, including a perfect 6-0 mark in district play and an appearance in the UIL 6A D1 Regional round… Also held offers from Air Force, Colorado State, New Mexico, Wyoming and others.
