Prep: Named a three-star recruit by ESPN.com... Listed as the No. 32 quarterback in the nation by ESPN.com... Was an All-State selection in 2012... Was District 20-5A first-team quarterback and MVP in 2012 and 2013... Named to the Houston Chronicle's Houston Top 100 and All-Greater Houston Team... Threw for 1,565 yards and 19 touchdowns, while running for 400 yards and six touchdowns as a senior... Helped Lamar to an 11-1 finish in 2013... Named the District 20-5A Newcomer of the Year in 2011... Chose SMU over Yale.
