Senior (2015): Started in 11 games... Registered 20 tackles... Had an interception (vs. North Texas)... Recorded eight passes defended... Had a QBH.

Junior (2014 at MU): Played in seven games on the season, tallying five tackles (all unassisted) with a TFL... Had a career-high four tackles at Toledo including a tackle for-loss... Also forced a fumble against Toledo.

Sophomore (2013 at MU): Played in 12 games as a sophomore, picking up three tackles for the Tiger defense... Made a stop in the SEC Championship Game against Auburn... Had two stops and one tackle for loss in the opening-week win over Murray State... Had a solid spring camp where he was named the team's most improved defensive back by the coaches. 

Freshman (2012 at MU): Did not see action in his redshirt freshman season.

2011: Redshirted.

Prep: Outstanding all-around athlete who excelled both on the gridiron and the track... Was well on his way to a stellar senior season, before suffering a season-ending knee injury five games into the campaign... In his five games before the injury, totaled 60 tackles at cornerback, two interceptions, four pass break ups, two forced fumbles and three tackles for loss... Was his team's defensive player of the year despite the limited playing time, and also served as a team captain... As a junior, had 20 tackles on defense, while adding 15 catches for 400 yards and seven touchdowns as a wide receiver... As a track standout, won a national title in the 110-meter hurdles in the spring of 2010 at the Nike Track Nationals in Eugene, Ore., and was also an indoor All-American in the 60-meter hurdles and the pentathlon.

Personal: Parents Bridgette and David Johnson... Had scholarships offers from Texas A&M, Nevada, Baylor, Houston and UTEP, among others.
