Senior (2018): Played in five games... Registered five tackles (all solo), one breakup and one QB hurry... AWARDS: American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. 

2017 (Senior at Cal): Did not see game action.

2016 (Junior at Cal): Played in 11 games… Registered 13 tackles and one quarterback hurry… A Jonathan and Judy Hoff Football Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

2015 (Sophomore at Cal): Played in four games… Registered four tackles.

2014 (Freshman at Cal): Played in all 12 games, making five starts… Registered 17 tackles, one tackle for loss, and three quarterback hurries.

Prep: Played both tight end and outside linebacker at Wakeland… Earned first-team All-District 9-4A honors at defensive end as a 2013 senior… Had 31 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and seven quarterback hurries as a junior… Recorded 16 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, one pass breakup and a 48-yard fumble return on one fumble recovery as a 2011 sophomore… Also a three-year letterwinner in basketball.

Personal: Son of Kevin and Shirley Westerfield… Sister, Danielle Westerfield, played collegiate basketball for Northwestern State and Texas Women's University.
