Emilio Terrazas enters his second season with the Mustangs, joining SMU in May of 2024 in the role of Assistant Director of Creative Content.
His responsibilities include producing, developing and posting recruiting and social content for the football program.Â
Terrazas' efforts helped lead to transformational growth for the SMU Football social media platforms in 2024. The Mustangs ranked 3rd in the country with a 245% engagement increase from 2023. Across all platforms, the SMU Football accounts totaled over 6 million engagements and 125 million impressions, leading to a total social media valuation of $3.49 million from July 2024 to December 2024.
Terrazas previously worked with football at Arizona State from 2020-23, where he helped with recruiting content, internal content, uniform reveals, and gameday content. During his time there, he also worked with the women’s basketball team from 2021-24. He was exclusively with the team for the 2023-24 season, helping with all recruiting and social content.
Terrazas graduated in May 2024 from Arizona State University with a degree in Sports Business and is originally from Los Angeles, Calif.Â
