Prep: Lettered three years under Dennis Bene at Salpointe Catholic High School… Helped team to a pair of State runner-up performances as well as a 13-1 record in 2018 and 12-1 record in 2019… Named team captain as a senior… Registered 209 career tackles (85 solo)… Was a 4A Football All-Stars First-Team selection (2018), Second-Team All-Conference at linebacker and First-Team 4A All-Conference LB (2019)… An eight-time Scholar-Athlete Award winner… Received National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Awards.

Personal: Father played baseball at the University of Arizona (1984-87) and was part of the 1986 National Championship team.
