Prep: Consensus four-star prospect from Frisco Heritage High School where he played for head coach Jibran Kelly (SMU 1999-2003)... Selected as The Dallas Morning News Area Player of the Year and to the UIL All-State Tournament Team... Averaged 25.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.5 steals as he led Heritage to a 34-2 record and the 5A Division I state championship, the first state title in Frisco ISD history...Scored 30 points and hit the game-winning buzzer-beater for a 65-63 win over Birdville in the state semifinals and followed that with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists in the 60-47 championship-game win over Beaumont West Brook.... As a junior, he averaged 22.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.8 steals as Heritage advance to the 5A Division I state semifinals... Rankings: 247 Sports (No. 9 Texas | No. 23 Position | No. 138 National); ESPN (No. 10 Texas | No. 23 Position); On3 (No. 9 Texas | No. 25 Position | No. 145 National).... Teammates at Heritage HS with five-star Duke signee Bryson Howard.
