    Graduate Manager
Zach Steinberg is in his second season (2021-22) as a graduate manager. The Mustangs earned a bid to the 2021 NIT in his first season.

Steinberg joined the Mustangs after an internship in player development with the Dallas Mavericks. 
 
With the Mavericks, Steinberg’s role included working with each player to improve individual skills. He also charted and monitored the progress of each player.
 
He was a three-year captain of the basketball team at the University of Illinois Springfield, where he earned the 2015-16 Coaches Award. In his four seasons in Springfield, he set the program’s career rebounds record. He graduated from UIS in 2019 with a degree in sports management.
